Chef John’s other half is a dynamic, multi faceted speaker, author, actress and dancer.

She and Chef John co-hosted the lively and informative talk-radio program “What’s Cooking! With Amber & Chef John, the tastiest talk show in America!” for 4 ½ years,

Amber authored her first cookbook “A Passion for Food!” in 2006, was nominated twice for Woman of the Year in Oklahoma, served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts as 3rd Vice President in charge of Fund Development, while living in Oklahoma, founded the first scholarship for Search and Rescue Dogs in America, founded the Sally Rand Museum and has been a regular feature on ABC’s local affiliate’s “Hometown This Morning” program with a weekly culinary feature for the last two years.

Amber’s second cookbook “A Passion for Food! II” is due out in the Winter of 2008 and her first children’s cookbook is due out for Summer of 2009.

In addition to authoring cookbooks, Amber has written three children’s books, tentatively slated to be out for Christmas 2009.

Amber is also an accomplished speaker, actress and dancer, having performed from San Francisco to New York.
